Whilst it is true that preference should always be for dispute avoidance as opposed to dispute resolution, the reality is that disputes frequently arise in the construction industry. What is important is that on the occurrence of a dispute the correct advice and planning for its resolution is provided. BFM believes in early analysis / assessment of the issue in dispute such that the correct strategic plan can be put in place for its resolution, whether by one or a combination of means such as negotiation, adjudication, arbitration, mediation etc.
BFM prides itself on its attention to detail and its ability to analyse the issue at hand forensically such that not only the strengths of the case are fully realised but also any potential weaknesses. This ensures that the correct method and process of resolution is adopted and pursued throughout in a manner which guarantees the most successful outcome.
